The Sprint format added an extra layer of intensity, making every minute of the single practice session crucial. The session was filled with drama, from spins and close calls to blistering lap times. The young Aussie topped the timesheet in SQ1, sending a shockwave through the grid. Rain loomed, but Piastri wasn&#8217;t fazed, putting his car on P1 despite the tricky conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Championship leader Verstappen looked to be back in his element, but a power unit penalty loomed large for Sunday&#8217;s race.
