If you like your EV to be a little more roomy, the Xpeng G9 might be the one for you. Powered by a 230 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, the G9 hits 100 km\/h from a standing start in just 3.9 seconds while carrying 7 passengers comfortably. <\/p><p>On this day though, we got to drive these EVs around the hotel premises to see what they had in store. Some key aspects that surprised us about these state-of-the-art EVs were the instant throttle response with zero lag, and the sci-fi-esque whirling noise they make when driving. Oh, and the regenerative braking feature which slows down the car as soon as you take your foot off the gas pedal was a nice surprise as well.<\/p><p>We\u2019ll be diving in depth into all of these
